Manuscript of Likutei Torah Authored by Rabbi Mordechai of Chernobyl.
Written in Chernobyl, 1854

Rare and important manuscript of sefer Likutei Torah- a compilation of Torah novellae from Rabbi Mordechai of Chernobyl.
Sefer Likutei Torah was first published in 1860, twenty-three years after Rabbi Mordechai’s passing. For years after, Rabbi Mordechai’s children and disciples studied his novellae using manuscripts and continued to do so even after Likutei Torah was finally brought to print, as the published version contained many errors.
This manuscript was written in neat handwriting in Chernobyl, 1854, some six years prior to the first publishing of Likutei Torah (1860).
96 leaves | Double-sided | 16.5 x 21 cm | Original damaged binding
