Rare historic regulations detailing guidelines for Rabbi Akiva Eiger’s yeshiva, along with Rabbi Akiva Eiger’s consent,

The rules and regulations are organized into seven chapters and include one hundred clauses! It covers all of the chevrah’s responsibilities towards matters such as food, health, guests, customs of prayer and kaddish, seat preferences, aliyos, loans and more.
Rabbi Akiva Eiger actively partook in the creation of these guidelines and his name is mentioned several times throughout the various sections.

At the end of the pamphlet, Rabbi Akiva Eiger is
quoted: “All the above guidelines, in their entirety and in their particulars, are favorable in my eyes… [signed: Posen, 1826, Akiva Eiger.]”

The pamphlet begins with the following declaration: “…The guidelines for the yeshiva bachurim here in Posen, which were created in the month of Elul, 1825 with the agreement of the Chevrah members, and which are found in the Sefer Hazichronos, are copied here.”

On page eight are copies of all the Chevrah leaders signatures and Rabbi Akiva’s consent, as well as the copier’s signature- Rabbi Mordechai Michael Yaffe.
