The Tanya autographed by the
Lubabitcher rebbe, Brooklyn 1979

Sefer Likutei Amarim Tanya personally signed by the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneersohn, as a gift and blessing to his chassid.

The Lubavitcher Rebbe would distribute the Sefer Tanya to those who came to personally speak with the Rebbe and to those participating in the “farbrengen”. At times the Admor would instruct a Chassid to take a copy from the secretary, while at other times the Admor would personally give the sefer to the chassid.
Throughout the month of Tishrei 1979, many of the Chassidim who came to see the Rebbe were given a personal signed copy of the sefer HaTanya and were blessed by the Rebbe that "in the merit of this learning [of sefer Tanya], all blessings will be fulfilled."

On the present copy of Tanya, the owner signed his name on the flyleaf and wrote: "I received [this] as a souvenir from the Rebbe, shlit"a, during my visit in 1979."

The Rebbe’s signature is found on last page.

This sefer, Likutei Amarim Tanya was published in Brooklyn, 1979.
