Rabbi Yaakov Aryeh’s handwriting became publicized as a segula for protection and success. This segula is particularly embraced by the admorim of the Ger Chassidus.

Rabbi Yaakov Aryeh of Radzymin (1792 – 1874) Author of Bechorei Aviv and Divrei Aviv. In his youth he traveled to the Chozeh MiLublin who attested that he possessed an elevated soul. He also studied Kabbalah by the Maggid of Kozhnitz and was a prized disciple of Rabbi Simcha Bunim of Pshischa. His name spread far and wide as a miracle-worker and thousands flocked to him. He was looked upon as the elder of the leaders and all Admorim subjugated themselves to him.
