Halachic Response from Rabbi Nathan Levin, AB"D of Risha; 1909

Halachic response from Rabbi Nathan Levin of Risha regarding exposed wheat upon which rainwater had fallen before Pesach, addressed to Rabbi Zev Wolf Leiter .
Written in Risha, 1909, this letter was written when Rabbi Zev Wolf was merely sixteen years old!

Rabbi Nathan Levin (1857 – 1926) was a prominent Galician scholar who was looked upon as a Halachic authority by Jews all over the world. He was a disciple of Rabbi Yitzchak Shmelkish- Av Beis Din of Lvov and author of Beis Yitzchak, who selected him as a son-in-law. He was known to possess a special, holy countenance which commanded the respect and reverence of all those who saw him. His ‘Beis Nadiv’ responsa was never published.
