Handwritten and signed letter from Rabbi Yechezkel Paneth of Deyzh, author of Knesses Yisrael written on behalf of his father, Rabbi Moshe of Deyzh.
The letter is addressed to the presidents of the Karlsburg community thanking them for a gift they had sent to his father Rabbi Moshe Panet .

Rabbi Yechezkel Paneth (1870-1930) was a leading admor of the Transylvania region, son of the Admor Rabbi Moshe of Deyzh and a disciple of his grandfather, the illustrious Rabbi Menachem Mendel Paneth, son of the Mareh Yechezkel. He frequented the courtyards of his generation’s sages and was close with the Admor of Shinowa. Following his father’s passing he served as Admor and presided over the large Deyzh Yeshiva.
