Sefer Drashos Rabbi Yehoshua ibn Shuaib, an important sefer drush authored by the Rishon Rabbi Yehoshua ben Shuib, a disciple of the Rashba.
This rare sefer was published in Constantinople, 1523.
Although the sefer was originally published without a title page, the present copy includes an illustrated title page created unassumingly upon the request of Rabbi Nachum Dov Ber Friedman of Sadigura, son of Rabbi Shalom Yosef, oldest son of Rabbi Yisrael of Ruzhin.
Rabbi Nachum Dov Ber Freidman of Sadigura possessed an extensive and prominent library and carefully cared for the sefarim. It is known that he would order special illustrated title pages for sefarim in his library which had been published without ttitle pages
Rabbi Nachum Dov Ber’s seal depicting a lion (symbolizing the kingdom of David) can be found on the title page of the sefer.
