Pa’amon V’Rimon from the Ramak Including Rare Kabbalistic Ilan; Amsterdam, 1708
Two treatises summarizing the Ramak’s Pardes Rimon: Assis Rimonim summarized by the Ramak’s disciple, Rabbi Shmuel Galigo, and Pelach HaRimon summarized by Rabbi Menachem Azaria of Pano.
These two treatises were combined in the present edition and include additional commentary from the Kabbalist Rabbi Mordechai Feishbraum of Prague, written in parenthesis within Assis Rimonim.
At the back of the sefer is a large folded diagram in the form of a tree known as the “
Ilan HaKadosh, ” depicting the chain-like descent of the spiritual worlds. Additional illustrations and sketches are scattered throughout the sefer as well.
This first edition was published along with Rabbi Mordechai’s commentary in Amsterdam, 1708, and includes a signature (NATHAN?) on the title page.
