Classics: First Edition Toldos Adam V’Chava by Rabbeinu Yerucham; Constantinople, 1516

First edition sefer Toldos Adam VeChava authored by the prominent Rishon Rabbeinu Yerucham ben Rabbeinu Meshulem of Provence.
Sefer Toldos Adam VeChava earned its place as a classic and fundamental Halachic sefer. The Beis Yosef frequently quotes him in his sefer, so much so that there is hardly a page where Rabbeinu Yerucham is not quoted at least once.
Toldos Adam VeChava includes three sections: ‘Adam’ regards Orach Chaim and Yoreh Deyah, ‘Chava’ regards Even Haezer, and ‘Meisharim’ regards the laws of Choshen Mishpat.
This first edition was published in Constantinople, 1516.
