First Edition Pesikta Rabbasi; Prague, 1653

Rare Classic sefer including a collection of Aggadic midrashim on the parshiyos and holidays, organized according to the Parshiyot (like the Midrash Rabbah).

This first edition Pesikta was published in Prague, 1653. A later version was published and titled ‘Pesikta Zurratha’ in order to differentiate from this first edition.

Mehlman note on the fly leaf reads “The title page is very rare.”
