Rare first edition copy of Rabbi Ovadia Sforno’s commentary on Chamisha Chumshei Torah along with a commentary on Koheles and Shir Hashirim.
This first edition was published in Venice, 1567.

Rabbi Ovadia Sforno (circa 1478 – 1550) was a leading Biblical commentator who was fluent in all areas of Torah study. Aside from his great Torah knowledge, he was an acclaimed doctor as well. The Sforno’s commentary was accepted by all segments of Judaism and is included in the Mikraos Gedolos chumashim.
