Special Prayer from the Holy Ohr HaChaim; Livorno, 1740

Special prayer for Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur composed by Rabbi Chaim ibn Attar, author of Ohr HaChaim, published in a rare Sedder TIkkun Shovavim.
Sedder Tikkun Shovavim for mincha  from the Rama"z includes the viduy of Kabbalist Rabbi Yosef Piamitta and other prayers, published in Livorno, 1740, during the lifetime of the Ohr HaChaim.
At the time of its printing, the Ohr HaChaim was passing through Livorno on his way to Eretz Yisrael.
His prayer can be found on page 34a and begins with an introduction stating that the prayer was composed by Rabbi Chaim ibn Attar, to be said on Rosh Hashana before elokai netzor, and on Yom Kippur while the chazzan recites "vaya’avor Hashem al panav…"
The content of the prayer speaks of our longing towards Hashem returning His shechina to us: "And come back to engage with us as in earlier days, because Your separation from us is difficult like the separation of our souls from our bodies…"
