Rabbi Tzvi Aryeh Yehuda Yaakov Meisles (1851 – 1933), Av Beis Din of Łask, was the son of Rabbi David Dov Meisles, Av Beis Din of Lask, author of Chidushei Haradad and others. He was a prominent rabbinical authority in Poland and dealt with the complicated matters of agunos. Proficient in both revealed and hidden aspects of Torah, he was close to many of the generation’s leaders.
