"…he should not participate in a conversion such as this one, and falsehood has been told to him that in Hungary we rely (on such conversions) because the Yerai’im do not need it (such heteirim) in any place."
Letter handwritten and signed by Rabbi Chaim Yitzchak Yerucham, Av Beis Din of Altstadt.
In the main body of the letter, the Rabbi apologizes for being unable to lengthen on the matter as he is preoccupied with readying his sefer for print.

Rabbi Chaim Yitzchak Yerucham of Altstadt (1865 – 1942) was a prominent Galician scholar, known by all as the Rabbi from Altstadt, and from the greatest respondents of his time. He taught Torah to select disciples including Rabbi Shlomo of Bobov, Rabbi Moshe of Bardiov and Rabbi Shmuel Fuerer. He was appointed Av Beis Din of Altstadt in 1907.
