Rabbi Shlomo Halberstam of Bobov (1907 – 2000) was the son of Admor Rabbi Benzion of Bobov. He was named after the patriarch of the Bobov dynasty, Rabbi Shlomo of Bobov, grandson of Rabbi Chaim of Sanz. Already in his youth, Rabbi Shlomo was ordained by the greatest rabbis of Galicia, and began to lead as a Rabbi in Bobov in 1930. He miraculously survived Nazi oppression and immigrated to the United States in 1945. There, Rabbi Shlomo began to rebuild the Bobov Chassidus. His Torah novellae are published in Kerem Shlomo and Likutei Kerem Shlomo. He passed away in the year 2000.
