Long Handwritten Letter by Rabbi Yerachmiel Dov Berish Banet, Av Beis Din of Liptoszentmiklos; 1869

Long letter handwritten and signed by Rabbi Yerachmiel Dov Berish Banet of Liptoszentmiklos, addressed to his son-in-law, Rabbi Eliyahu Menachem Goitein, Av Beis Din of Hőgyész and grandson of the Kessef Nivchar.
The letter includes words of greeting as well as Torah novellae, and is written in Hebrew and Yiddish.
Rabbi Yerachmiel Dov Berish Banet (1815 – 1877) was the son of Rabbi Yechezkel Bennet, Av Beis Din of Nitra, and a disciple of the Chassam Sofer. He lived near his father-in-law in Liptoszentmiklos where he served as a moreh tzeddek.
