Letter from Rabbi Yechezkel Reich, Av Beis Din of Anowicz and Karlsburg, son of Rabbi Yaakov Koppel Altenkunstat – Charif and father of Rabbi Koppel Reich of Budapest.
Includes: a letter from Rabbi Yechezkel to his son-in-law, Rabbi Dov Ber Dushinsky, Av Beis Din of Namesta;
a letter from Rabbi Yechezkel to his son, Rabbi Chaim Yehuda Leib;
a letter from his son Rabbi Wolf; and a letter from an additional son.
Rabbi Avraham Yechezkel Reich was the son and disciple of his father, Rabbi Koppel Charif of Vrbové.  At the young age of twenty he published his father’s novellae, Chidushei Yaavetz on chulin, whereupon he received the endorsement of the Chassam Sofer who referred to him as,
"the diligent and witty young man; a beautiful olive tree." He served as Av Beis Din of Karlsburg and then of Anowicz, beginning in 1855, serving in this capacity for thirty-five years. He authored Toras Yechezkel on Torah and homilies – Two parts.
