Rabbi Pinchas Twersky of Ostile (1880 – 1943), also known as R’ Pinni’le, was the son of Rabbi Mordechai Twersky of Rachmastrivka and learned by his grandfather, the holy Rabbi Yochanan of Rachmistrivka. His foremost teacher and mentor was his father-in-law, Rabbi Yissachar Dov of Belze. Rabbi Pinchas lived near his father-in-law for close to thirty years. He was respected and admired by him and all of his Chassidim, so much so, that Chassidim of Belze would stop by Rabbi Pinchas when traveling to their Admor. In 1922, he was appointed Admor of Ostile where his name quickly spread as a holy and pious leader. His Torah novellae are published in Sh’ayris L’Pinchas. His son-in-law, Rabbi Yaakov Yosef Twersky, was the Admor of Skver, father of present day Admor of Skvere.
