Letter of blessing and congratulation from Rabbi Yisrael Friedman of Boyan–Leipzig, dated Friday, the eve of Shabbos HaGadol, 1942. 

Rabbi Yisrael of Boyan (1878 – 1951) was the son of Rabbi Yitzchak of Boyan, author of Pachad Yitzchak, son of Rabbi Avraham Yaakov of Sadigura, son of Rabbi Yisrael of Ruzhin. Rabbi Yisrael was born on the first day of slichos about which Rabbi Avraham Yaakov of Sadigura remarked,
"He came into the world as a Chassid" . Rabbi Yisrael began to serve as Admor in Vienna in 1917 and later moved to Leipzig. He immigrated to Eretz Yisrael in 1939 and was buried in Tzfas.
