Extremely Rare Sidrei Iburin Published by the Shapiro Brothers; Zhitomir, 1863
Calendar and calculations including all of the days of the world compiled with the purpose of teaching the Jewish people the calculation of tekufos and molados. The book was edited and compiled from several sefarim by Rabbi Menachem Mendle of Slavita.
This rare book was published in Zhitomir, 1863, by the Shapiro brothers. (The name of the printing press is written in Cyrillic script.)
Sidrei Iburin is not listed in Winograd and is not found in the National Library in Jerusalem. In the Library’s catalogue it is noted that they only saw a title page of this book.
Page 61 includes “Zichron Yemos Olam” including the yahrtzeit dates of the Baal Shem Tov and the Vilna Gaon.
