Letter from Rabbi Chaim David Tzvi Chen of Chernihiv regarding purchase of a lulav and esrog for the upcoming Sukkos. Including some Torah novellae.

Rabbi David Tzvi Chen (1846 – 1925), known by all as the Rada"tz, was the son of Rabbi Peretz Chen. He was a disciple of four Chabad admorim: the Tzemach Tzedek, That MaHarash,   The Rashab and Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Schneersohn. He was from the few individuals to receive rabbinical ordination from Rabbi Shmuel Schneersohn. He was renowned as a tremendous scholar and Chassid. He served as a rabbi for more than fifty years and immigrated to Eretz Yisrael towards the end of his life. His is the first endorsement on the Ketzos Hashulchan of Rabbi Avraham Chaim Na’eh.
