Rare letter of recommendation dated 1904, handwritten by Rabbi Chaim Friedman, Av Beis Din of Dombard.
Also included is a letter of recommendation from other community leaders.
Rabbi Chaim Friedman was the son of Rabbi Yitzchak Eizek Friedman who was a disciple of the Chassam Sofer. He served as Av Beis Din of Dombrad and passed away during his father’s lifetime.
