Handwritten and signed letter from Rabbi Yosef Leib Sofer, regarding delivery of his sefer Yalkut Sofer on Torah, Part Five, and his father’s sefer, Mele’ah Ketores.
Rabbi Yosef Leib Sofer (1860 – 1917), Av Beis Din of Derecske and Paksh, was the son of Rabbi Eliezer Zussman Sofer, Av Beis Din of Paksh. He was a disciple of his illustrious father and the Shevet Sofer. Beginning in 1884, he served as Av Beis Din of Derecske, and from 1903 he succeeded his father’s position in Paksh. He published : Likutei Sofer on Mitzvos and Yalkut Sofer on Torah.
