Emes L’Yaakov: Manuscript with Handwritten Additions by the author, Rabbi Yaakov Lorberbaum, Author of Chavos Da’as
Volume containing novellae on Aggados and homilies by Rabbi Yaakov Lorberbaum, Av Beis Din of Lissa and author of Chavos Da’as and Nesivos Mishpat.
The volume was written by a copier, possibly his disciple Rabbi Yaakov Gutweirta of Mashtzisk. I
t is written in beautiful script and includes handwritten additions from the author himself.
There is a five-page homily which the author edited, complete with erasures and added complete paragraphs.
These novellae were later published in sefer Emes L’Yaakov, and several novellae were incorporated as well in sefer Nachlas Yaakov.
