Letter from Rabbi Bruch Ber Leibowitz addressed to the chairman of the Yeshivas Committee in Chicago.
Dated Kamenitz, 1939, the final four lines are handwritten by him along with his signature and seal.
Rabbi Baruch Ber Leibowitz (1862 – 1939) was a Torah leader in the generation prior World War II. His lectures were renowned throughout Poland and Lithuania and many traveled across the world to hear his famed discourses. He was known for his deep concern for the well being of each of his disciples. He authored Birchas Shmuel, one of the most prominent sefarim of the yeshiva world.
