Letter from Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Bloch, Av Beis Din and last Rosh Mesivta of the Telshe Yeshiva.
Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Bloch (1891 – 1941) was the son of Rabbi Yosef Yehuda Leib, Av Beis Din of Telshe. He studied under his father and grandfather, Rabbi Eliezer Gordon, as well as by Rabbi Shimon Shkop. Renowned for his quick grasp and diligence, he began to lead the Telshe Yeshiva in 1921 until the rise of the Nazi regime. His Torah lectures were compiled in the Shiurei Rabbeinu HaGra"y of Telshe series.
Dated Telshe, 1933, the letter is typewritten and includes a handwritten line as well as a signature.
