Handwritten letter from Rabbi Eliyahu Eliezer Dessler, addressed to his cousin, Rabbi Eliyahu Eliezer Skolsky of London.
Between the years 1931 – 1939, Rabbi Dessler delivered Torah lectures in the Ein Yaakov Beis Midrash in East London and in the Montagu Road Beis Midrash in Dalston, London.

Rabbi Eliyahu Dessler was renowned throughout the world as one of the leading Mussar figures of the last generation. His uncle, Rabbi Chaim Ozer, highly regarded and praised his Torah discourses. Rabbi Eliyahu’s Torah novellae were published in 1992, including several of the lectures given during his tenure in England.
