Personal Gamara from the Chazon Ish.

Tractate Avoda Zara Including Handwritten Glosses from  the Chazon Ish

Glosses on tractates avoda zara, horiyus and eiduyos handwritten by the Chazon Ish while learning from this very volume.

In 1919, the Chazon Ish lived in Vilna and would study in the home of his brother-in-law, Rabbi Shmuel Greiniman. The room set aside for him was furnished with a table, chair, bed and classic sefarim. During this period, the Chazon Ish remained secluded in this room for the majority of the day immersed in his learning. It was during this period that the Chazon Ish studied from this Talmud. The volume remained in the possession of Rabbi Shmuel Greiniman who gave it to his son-in-law, Rabbi Beinush Finkel.
In the pages of tractate avoda zara there are two comments, one of which is very long and takes up most of the page. There is an additional comment in tractate eiduyos, as well as seven corrections  in the Raavad’s commentary.
This edition was published in the press of the Re’em widow and brothers in Vilna, 1913.
