Rabbi Eliya Lopian (1876 – 1970) was a prominent leader of the Mussar movement and a disciple of the Kelm yeshiva. He immigrated to Eretz Yisrael in 1949 where he taught Torah and Mussar. In 1950 he accepted the position as mashgiach of the Kfar Chassidim Yeshivah. His Torah novellae are recorded in the sefer Lev Eliyahu, edited by his  disciple, Rabbi Shalom Schwadron.
