Responsa Toras Chessed was known to be especially beloved by Rabbi Ovadia Yosef, who mentions it in his treatises hundreds of times.
The glosses are filled with a tremendous breadth of knowledge, as per the fashion of Rabbi Ovadia Yosef. Written in Rashi letters, one gloss includes an initials signature.
The title page of the sefer is torn and missing the bottom half.
