Torah Novellae from Rabbi Nachum Weidenfeld, Av Beis Din of Dambrava

Long letter of Torah novellae dated 1925, handwritten and signed by the holy Rabbi Nachum Weidenfeld, Av Beis Din of Dambrava.

Rabbi Nachum Weidenfeld (1875 – 1939) was known by all as the Chazon Nachum, a prominent leader of Galician Jewry prior to World War II. He was the son of the Kochav MiYaakov of Harmilov and a brother of the Tchebeiner Rav. He discoursed with the Avnei Nezer already at the young age of thirteen and his illustrious father praised his sharp novellae when he was a mere fifteen years old. In 1896 he was appointed Av Beis Din of Dambrava and served in this capacity until the outbreak of World War II. He authored Responsa Chazon Nachum.
