Letter by the Admor Rabbi Aharon Menachem Mendel Gutterman of Radzymin written on the Admor’s personal stationary with the last line and a half handwritten and signed by the Admor himself.

"When our friend, Rabbi Yisrael Nissan shlit"a from the city of Makava, travels with his family to the holy city to settle there, I ask that you do everything you can that he should have an apartment in the houses of our kollel, Kollel Warsaw…"

Rabbi Menachem Mendel Gutterman of Radzymin (1860 – 1934) studied under the guidance of his holy grandfather, Rabbi Yaakov Aryeh of Radzymin, and was a disciple of the Avnei Nezer. A sharp and brilliant Torah scholar, he was known by all for his assistance to both individuals and communities alike. He was appointed Admor in the year 1902 and served as president of the Rabbi Meir Baal Haness Charity. He is the one who initiated the separation of men and women at the Kosel during his visit to Eretz Yisrael in 1928. He passed away childless. He authored Chinuch Habanim, Alim L’Trufa as well as others.
