Signed letter written in the handwriting of the holy miracle worker, Rabbi Yechiel Meir of Sassow. The letter was written during the lifetime of his father, Rabbi Shlomo of Sassow, and is written on his personal stationary.

Rabbi Yechiel Michel of Sassow (1869 – 1919) was the second son of Rabbi Shlomo Mayer of Sassow, a son of Rabbi Chanoch Henoch of Alesk, son-in-law of the Sar Shalom of Belz. A world-renowned miracle worker, men and women would flock to him from far and near to receive his blessings.
As a child, Rabbi Yechiel Michel was a mute. At age seven, his father sat with him on a Motzaei Yom Kippur and began to teach him
aleph – beis. From then on, Rabbi Yechiel Michel dedicated his life to learning Torah. Following the death of his illustrious father he was appointed Admor of Lvov.
