"Alshich Hakadosh"  Constantinople – Tzfas, 1563 Cavatzeles Hasharon: First Published Work of the Alshich,

Commentary on
sefer Daniel titled Chavatzeles Hasharon authored by Rabbi Moshe Alshich of Tzfas.

In his preface, the Alshich describes his decision to become a lecturer instead of a rabbi. He would lecture on Shabbos and record his thoughts in writing on
motzaei Shabbos.

Steinschneider asserts that the book was printed in Tzfas. However, it is strikingly familiar to the
sefer Emunos V’Deos, published in Constantinople, 1562 [Yaari, Constantinople 165].
