Rabbi Alter Ezriel Meir Eiger of Lublin
(1873-1941) was the son of Rabbi Avraham Eiger of Lublin, a direct descendant of the famed Rabbi Akiva Eiger. He succeeded his father’s position in Lublin and Warsaw following his passing, and thousands would stream to him from far and wide for his wisdom and protection.
