First Edition Sefer Hafla'ah from Rabbi Pinchas HaLevi Horowitz, Av Beis Din of Frankfurt am Main, Offenbach 1787

Novellae on tractate Kesubos with novellae on the laws of Kesubos at the end titled "Sheves Achim," by Rabbi Pinchas HaLevi Horowitz, Av Beis Din of Frankfurt am Main.

The Sheves Achim pamphlet was compiled together with his brother Rabbi Shmelke of Nikolsburg. As such, Rabbi Pinchas writes at the beginning of the pamphlet… "I am bound with strong and powerful ties of great love… with the soul of my brother, the great Rabbi Shmelke HaLevi, to learn Halacha together with tremendous love like the love of David and Yonasan, and to learn Talmud and Poskim. To stand at the roots of the truth of Torah and its foundations… We learned with much diligence for several years… the laws of Kesubos in slight depth, and when we had a new idea on the topic, we wrote it down in order to remember". "
He travelled with his brother Rabbi Shmelke to learn by the Maggid of Mezritch until they became Rabbis of Nikolsburg and Frankfurt respectively, where he headed the yeshivah as well. The Chassam Sofer was one of his closest disciples.
As the end of the sefer there are novellae from the author's son-in-law Rabbi Avraham Chaim of Zlotchov, author of Orach Lechaim.
Sefer Hafla'ah on tractate Kesubos is a fundamental and basic sefer for understanding the tractate.
