Rabbi Yitzchak Eizik Yechiel Safrin of Komarna (1806 – 1874) was a holy miracle worker and scholar who was well versed in both the revealed and hidden aspects of the Torah. He was from the greatest Admorim and kabbalists and studied under his uncle, Rabbi Tzvi Hirsch of Zidichev. Already from a young age he achieved great spiritual heights and would later testify about himself that he had from the souls of the Ar"i and the Baal Shem Tov. He authored Heichal Habracha, Otzar Chaim, Nesiv Mitzvosecha, Asiris Ha'eifa and Notzer Chessed among others.
