Letter of Regards from Rabbi Tzvi Hirsh Morgenstern of Kotzk – Grandfather of Current Admor of Gur.

A handwritten letter from Rabbi Tzvi Hirsh Morgenstern of Lumaz-Kotzk to his daughter Rebbetzin Elka, wife of Rabbi Avraham of Slonim, author of the sefer Beis Avraham.
This letter was written entirely by Rabbi Tzvi Hirsh complete with his signature. At the end of the letter Rabbi Tzvi Hirsch inquiries regarding the welfare of his daughter Rebbetzin Yuta, wife of Rabbi Nechemia Alter who was the son of the Sefas Emes. Rebbetzin Yuta was the mother-in-law of the Lev Simcha and grandmother of the current Admor of Gur.
Rabbi Tzvi Hirsh Morgenstern of Lumaz-Kotzk (1858 – 1920) was the son of Rabbi David of Kotzk and grandson of Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Kotzk. At the young age of 22 he succeeded his father as leader of Kotzk.
