Recommendation for a Student of the Vilna Gaon's Kloiz from Rabbi Chaim Ozer Grodzinsky

A letter from Rabbi Aidle Yaakovson, a member of the Vilna Gaon's kloiz, addressed to Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak HaCohen Kook, requesting an entry permit to Eretz Yisrel.

He writes: "Have mercy on me and send word because I want to spend my last days in the holy city of Jerusalem." Rabbi Aidle also writes that during his years in business he had set aside time to learn in the Vilna Gaon's beis midrash and that now that he was retired he was learning there full time.
Also attached is a handwritten and signed endorsement from Rabbi Chaim Ozer Grodzinsky, Av Beis Din of Vienna, as well as endorsements from other members of the Vienna kloiz: Rabbi Yoel ben Chanoch Henoch HaCohen and Rabbi Betzalel Slotzki, son of Rabbi Ephraim Leib Slotzki, rabbi in Vilna and author of Ohr Chadash and Responsa Divrei Ephraim.
