Beautiful Edition Akeidas Yitzchak with Rare Colored Title Page, Venice 1565

Beautiful homilies on the Chamisha Chumshei Torah by Rabbi Yitzchak Arama including explanations of Midrash, mitzvos and holidays, split between one hundred title pages.

Published in Venice, 1565 following the style of the Bomberg press (as written in the title page), it was glossed and edited by Rabbi David Provençal, Av Beis Din of Mantua.
The sefer boasts a rare and exceptional title page: In the titles of each section one word was printed in red followed by one word in black and so on, a phenomenon that is likely unique to this sefer. In general, colored title pages from this era are exceptionally rare.
