The first treatise of the holy Alshich on the Torah printed for the first time on just Bereishis in the city of Balveder, 1593.
The Alshich's Toras Moshe was accepted in all the Diaspora and is a cornerstone for preachers and maggidim.
The Balveder Press: Following the death of her husband, Don Yosef Nasi, Donna Reyna Nasi established a printing press in the Balveder palace in order to enable the great scholars of Turkey and Eretz Yisrael to publish their composition. Seven sefarim were printed in her press by publisher Yosef Ashkeloni, all of which are exceedingly rare.
