Original Invitation to the Wedding of Rabbi Naftali Rubin of Vishnitza's Granddaughter – Son-in-law of the Shinover, 1927

An invitation to the wedding of Rabbi Shabsai Yitzchak ben Rabbi Naftali Herzig, Av Beis Din of Teshitsh, with Baila Rubin, the daughter of Rabbi Yitzchak Rubin, Av Beis Din of Tzfas and son-in-law of Rabbi Naftali Rubin, Av Beis Din of Vishnitza.

The wedding took place in the grandfather's home in Vishnitza, 1927. Surprisingly, this son and daughter-in-law are not mentioned in the list of descendants brought down in the book of the Admor of Sanz.
Rabbi Naftali Rubin (1851 – 1938) was the great-grandson of Rabbi Asher Yeshaya of Ropshitz and the son-in-law of Rabbi Yechezkel Halberstam of Shinowa. He lived by his father-in-law and learned there for several years along with his brother-in-law, Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Frysztak. He was the Av Beis Din of Vishnitza for many years..
