Handwritten Letter from Rabbi Chaim Baruch Halberstam, Av Beis Din of Frysztak, 1920

A Yiddish letter dated 1920 entirely handwritten and signed by Rabbi Chaim Baruch Halberstam, Av Beis Din of Frysztak.

Rabbi Chaim Baruch Halberstam was the son of Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Frysztak, son-in-law of the Shinover. In 1936 he was appointed Av Beis Din of Frysztak. His daughter Rivka married his nephew Rabbi Shalom, son of his brother Rabbi Chana of Kolshitz. Rabbi Chaim Baruch was killed in the Holocaust along with his entire family.
