Rabbi David Halberstam (1892 – 1942) was the son of Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Frysztak and son-in-law of Rabbi Eliezer HaLevi Rosenfeld of Auschwitz who was the son-in-law of the Divrei Chaim. He served as Av Beis Din of Shlisk and Admor of Chebin and was greatly admired by the holy leaders of his time. He was murdered with his wife and ten children in the Holocaust.
