A letter from Rabbi Shmaryahu Noach Schneerson of Bobroisk written to Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak HaCohen Kook.
The letter is dated the 28th of Kislev, 1922 and signed in Rabbi Shmaryahu Noach's holy handwriting only seventeen days before his passing.
Rabbi Shmaryahu Noach Schneerson (1842 – 1923) was the son of Rabbi Yehuda Leib of Kapust, grandson of the Tzemach Tzedek, and son-in-law of his uncle, Rabbi Yisrael Noach of Nizhyn. He served as rabbi and Av Beis Din of Bobroisk where he upheld a yeshivah and was one of the leading rabbis of Russia.
