A postcard from  Admor Rabbi Shalom of Shatz

together with his son R' Yaakov Moskowitz of Shatz

Rabbi Shalom added two lines and signed: "…he should be blessed with a good winter and a good, blessed year and with life and peace (shalom)."
Rabbi Shalom of Shatz (1878 – 1958) was the son of Rabbi Mordechai Yosef of Sulitza. He was appointed rabbi of Shatz and its provinces at the young age of twenty-five. Rabbi Meir Shapiro of Lublin was one of his disciples. In 1926 he moved to his Chassidic community living in London where many people flock to his grave to pray for salvation.
