Long Handwritten Letter by Admor Meir'l of Amshinov Regarding Establishment of Yeshivah in Eretz Yisrael

A detailed letter handwritten by Rabbi Meir'l of Amshinov regarding his yeshivah in Eretz Yisrael.

The yeshivah was originally established in Chulon in order to facilitate kiruv. However, as he states in this letter, the attempt was unsuccessful and the yeshivah was now looking to move to Bnei Brak. The Admor further states that this was only on condition that there was really a need for such a yeshivah in Bnei Brak and that his and his family's comfort not be taken into consideration.
Rabbi Meir of Amshinov (1901-1976) was the son of Rabbi Shimon Shalom of Amshinov, a direct descendant of Rabbi Yitzchak of Vorke. He was exiled to Shanghai along with other prominent leaders of Vilna and eventually made his way to America where he assisted his father in rebuilding his Chassidic court following the Holocaust. He succeeded his father as Admor of Amshinov and served in this capacity from 1953.
