Belz : "MY BROTHER Maran SHLIT"A IS BARUCH HASHEM FEELING BETTER" – Letter from Rabbi Mordechai Rokeach regarding the welfare of his brother Reb Aaron Belzer
A complete handwritten letter with signature from Rabbi Mordechai Rokeach of Bilgoray, father of the current Admor of Belz, concerning the health of his brother, Rabbi Aharon of Belz.
The letter was sent to Rabbi Yissachar Ber HaLevi Rotenberg, Av Beis Din of Vidislav. It includes a letter of recommendation to a chassid who devoted much time assisting Rabbi Aharon of Belz.
Rabbi Mordechai Rokeach of Bilgoray (1901 – 1949) was the father of Rabbi Yissachar Dov Rokeach shlit"a, the current Admor of Belz. He served as rabbi of Bilgoray and later escaped Poland along with his brother the Admor. They made their way to Eretz Yisrael where Rabbi Mordechai assisted his brother in rebuilding the Chassidic court of Belz. He is the father of the current Belzer Rebbe.
