A letter from Rabbi Chaim Meir Hager, author of Imrei Chaim, upon the engagement of Rabbi Yisrael Tausig’s son.
Comprised of five lines handwritten and signed by the Imrei Chaim himself, it is dated 1950. The letter was written while fundraising in America for the rebuilding of Vizhnitz mosdos.

Rabbi Chaim Meir Hager (1887 – 1972) was the son and successor of the Ahavas Yisrael of Vizhnitz. He miraculously survived the Holocaust and eventually came to Eretz Yisrael where he established his chassidic court in Bnei Brak.
