הערכה: $10,000 - $15,000
Handwritten will of Rabbi Yechiel of Karilowitz from the year 1913.
He begins his will mourning the death of his only son, Rabbi Meshulam Zusia of Zhinkov, and continues by discussing what should be done following his passing with regard to tzeddakah, mishnayos, the tefillin he inherited from his grandfather, the Apter Rav, and the distribution of his inheritance.
Rabbi Yechiel of Karilowitz (1843 – 1916) was the son of Rabbi Meshulam Zusia of Zhinkov, son of Rabbi Yitzchak Meir of Zhinkov, son of the Ohev Yisrael of Apta. He was the son-in-law of Rabbi Yehoshua of Belz and father in law of Reb Shayale of Tchekhov who was the son of the Divrei Chaim.
Reb Yechiel mentions in his will that the Sefer Torah he purchased from the money of tithes was done upon the instruction of his father-in-law, Rabbi Yehoshua of Belz.
This is a rare and extraordinary will. No will from an Admor was ever sold at an auction.
